Situated on the eastern boundary of the famous Hwange National Park in a 5 square km area, Tom’s Little Hide is an exclusive use safari house.

Tom’s Little Hide has its own private dining, lounge and entertainment area, plunge pool, private guide and private vehicle.  The house was named in honour of the late Tom Preston who built The Hide.

It is set in a great location with superb views over the waterhole and ancient elephant paths are close by. Accommodation is in 3 large luxury en-suite tented rooms, all overlooking the main waterhole.  Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom, consisting of bath, outside and inside shower, his and hers hand basins and flush toilet along with a teak dressing table. All rooms have been mosquito proofed and have fans.

The spacious bedrooms are tastefully furnished with solid Zimbabwe teak furniture and each is individually decorated.  One room has an inter-leading children’s room.

Game drives can be before and after breakfast, both on the Concession and into the National Park.

Wildlife & Birdlife

This area of Hwange National Park is extremely wildlife rich, with potential to see all of the Big 5, as well as zebra, hyena and giraffe.

Many animals can be seen at the waterhole from the comfort of your tent.

The bird life in Hwange is also excellent (over 400 species  recorded) with brilliant chances of photography out in the open or in the underground Hide at the Camp waterhole.
