One of the original lodges in the area, Ivory Lodge is set amongst indigenous flora, its thatched units constructed on stilts amidst teak trees.
The accommodation comprises of 9 thatched tree-house style rooms each with ensuite facilities with a total capacity of 20 people. Each room has amazing views over the waterhole. All rooms are fitted with mosquito nets and because all of the rooms are fairly open, electric blankets are provided for winter months.
The open style of the accommodation ensures visitors have an intimate bush experience in a natural wilderness. The central thatch zones flow out to gardens, a fire pit and a shaded pool. In the evenings, the floodlit waterhole may be best appreciated from an upstairs library.

The rooms are about 4 metres off the floor offering sweeping views of the vlei and surrounding bush, as well as allowing privacy and an intimate safari experience.

3 are double rooms which have queen size beds, 3 are twins with two single beds, 1 family orientated room with two double beds and two tented suites, both having queen size beds.

Enjoy day game drives through the private concession and Hwange. Night drives and guided walks are conducted in the Ivory Lodge Concession. The area is the long-standing home range of the frequently seen Presidential Herd of elephants.
Hwange National Park is currently Zimbabwe’s most active park and is home to a prolific array of game and wildlife.
These include carnivores such as hyeana, lion, leopard and cheetah, and plains game such as elephant, buffalo, kudu, sable, eland, impala and other specialised species such as giraffe, zebra, jackal and many many more.
