Puku Ridge Camp is tented, small and intimate and has been constructed to blend into the local surroundings. The camp offers seven luxury, oversized tents with a wrap-around view of the floodplains through picture windows and a private decked balcony. Comfortably furnished tents boast en-suite facilities including a soothing bathtub, indoor shower and outdoor shower shaded by trees, luxury bathroom amenities, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, hairdryers and electricity. The panoramic views are astounding from the stylish communal spaces where guests enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, as well as relaxing in-between activities in the large living area.

The South Luangwa is home to 60 types of mammals – including elephant, lion, zebra, giraffe, wild dog, buffalo, hippo and antelope and has a reputation of being one of the best places in Africa to spot leopard.
The park is a haven for birders with just over 400 bird species, these include 39 birds of prey and 47 migrant species. There are also a variety of endemic species such as Thornicroft’s giraffe, Crayshay’s zebra, and Cookson’s wildebeest.
