Robin’s House is a small, private and exclusive house on the banks of the Luangwa River, ideal for young families or friends seeking a more indulgent type of safari.

This two bedroom house with main living area provides a shady and cool retreat from the African midday heat and if that is not enough there is a stunning plunge pool to soak in whilst looking over the Luangwa River. 

With its own team of staff dedicated to looking after you Robin’s House offers a home away from home but with added luxuries. There is a private kitchen and chef, along with a valet, so meals can be served where and when you like. This is particularly important for families with children.

There is also a private guide and safari vehicle for the game viewing activities, so the pace of the safari can be totally flexible.

A typical day if ever there is one…

5.30                      wake up drum

5.45                      tea/coffee/toast/cereal/fruit by the camp fire

6.15                      leave camp on drive or walk

Midday                 lunch/brunch

Midday-3.30        relax

3.30                       afternoon tea and then leave camp on the afternoon/night drive

8.00 – 8.30           return to camp for dinner

Note: everything is flexible (our company motto is ‘flexibility’) and the length of the game drives/walks depends on the activity in the bush and the enthusiasm of the guests.

Wildlife & Birdlife

The ox bow lagoons, woodland and plains of the valley host huge concentrations of game – including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe, hippo – and over 450 species of birds.

Added Extras

The house comes with private chef, hostess, guide and vehicle; making everything fully flexible to the group – a home away from home.
