With an emphasis on safari rather than luxury, nThambo provides an intimate, game-centred experience, allowing guest focus to remain on the natural beauty of the area, without unnecessary distraction. 5 treehouse-style, elevated suites are constructed of wood, canvas and thatch, and each has its own verandah overlooking the plains. Solar lighting is used, rather than electricity.
There is an outdoor lounge and dining area, under thatch, that offers guests beautiful views of the plain and small waterhole in front of camp, as well as the Drakensberg Mountain range in the distance.
There is also a splash pool with decking area and small library area stocked with reading material.
Wholesome meals are served in a social dining area, or in the boma around a blazing fire.
