Schoone Oordt Country House is a beautifully restored Georgian and Victorian building, five star country house in picturesque Swellendam on the Garden Route.

This double story house is set in lush, abundant gardens, sheltered by aged oak trees with views extending to the magnificent mountains beyond.

The extensive grounds of Schoone Oordt house a total of 10 Rooms – 2 Standard, 6 Luxury, a quaint, private family cottage (children of all ages are welcome) and a romantic and secluded honeymoon hideaway. Each luxurious suite has every modern convenience while restored antiques retain the Victorian feel of a bygone era. The Manor House boasts an exquisite light and airy conservatory, cosy fire-lit bar and lounge, an intimate dining room and a true country kitchen. Breakfasts are a 3-course affair and Eighteen53 plays host to intimate dinners.  There is a relaxing swimming pool area.
