Camp Kipwe is an eco friendly lodge set within the Twyfelfontein Conservancy in Damaraland. It’s sister camp is Mowani Mountain Lodge.

Camp Kipwe nestles amongst the majestic boulders of this beautiful area on a high spot, commanding distant views over the ancient landscape. Great care has been taken with the design of the recreational areas, giving the impression of an African Village.

Camp Kipwe consists of 9 igloo-styled bungalows nestled into the boulders, each with its own shaded veranda to take in the glorious views across the Aba Huab valley.  There is one honeymoon Suite. Simple, yet comfortable bedrooms are decorated in neutral tones with accents of brightly coloured accessories. Twin or double beds on wooden bases are covered by crisp white linen. Bedside tables and lamps are in keeping with the back to nature feel and are constructed of wood.  All rooms have air conditioning, digital safes and hair dryers.  There is also a refreshing plunge pool, curio shop, bar and lounge.

Activities include vehicle safari in search of desert elephants, balloon safari, cultural interaction, hiking and visits to some excellent rock art.
