Lower Zambezi: The Lower Zambezi National Park may be one of Zambia’s smallest parks, but it is certainly one of it’s most picturesque. The main attraction is the dry season (July to October) game viewing when the diverse wildlife congregates near the Zambezi River.
You will receive a Complimentary Meet & Greet at Johannesburg Airport and be escorted to meet a connecting flight to Livingstone.
Upon arrival into Livingstone take a short road transfer to Tongabezi Lodge to spend 2 nights in Honeymoon House. Fully inclusive of all meals, local brand drinks, house wine, sparkling wine, house spirits, lodge activities and laundry.
Tongabezi Lodge on the Zambezi River merges quirky luxury, tranquil ambiance and a communion with nature. Depart Tongabezi by road transfer to Livingstone Airport to meet your flight to Mfuwe, gateway to the South Luangwa National Park.
At Mfuwe Airport you will be met by a 4×4 vehicle for the road transfer through local villages and into the South Luangwa to Mchenja Camp where adventure meets luxury! Spend 3 nights fully inclusive of all meals and game viewing activities.
Mchenja Camp is located in the central region of the South Luangwa National Park. Set under huge ebony trees on the banks of a broad section of the Luangwa River, Mchenja has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with sweeping river views.
Guests staying at Mchenja can choose if they wish to view their wildlife on foot or from a game viewing vehicle. In addition to the ebony grove at camp there are two more stunning groves close by and game viewing in the area is superb, with night drives very worthwhile.

With only five specially designed octagonal canvas and thatched chalets built on concrete bases, and one two-bedroom family unit, Mchenja is an intimate affair.
