Spend 4 nights in 1 Cottage at Kirkmans Kamp on a Fully Inclusive basis.
Kirkman’s Kamp is a colonial-style safari lodge set in 6,300 hectares of private concession in the southern Sabi Sand Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Located high on a ridge, this historic 1920’s homestead is surrounded by manicured lawns and overlooks the pristine bushveld and the Sand River. 12 cottages retain a nostalgic safari atmosphere and feature views over the surrounding wilderness from private verandahs. Beautiful appointments include twin or double beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers and claw-footed baths. &Beyond Kirkman’s Kamp features a large sitting room with a fireplace, authentic furniture and mementoes of a gracious past, and a fascinating library. Breakfast and lunch are catered on extensive verandahs while dinners are savoured in a boma or a candlelit bush setting. In between morning and late afternoon game drives and guided bush walks, guests can cool off in the pool, or browse through the safari shop.
Sabi Sand is part of the Greater Kruger eco-system where the game roams freely which makes for a very authentic wildlife experience. Perfect for first timers on safari, game drives are very rewarding and you would hope to tick off the Big 5 (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant) during your stay plus lots of other exciting sightings.
*(Maximum 6 guests per safari vehicle, however this can vary during peak times or due to unforeseen circumstances and is not guaranteed).
Game drives in the Sabi Sand are able to go off road in search of exceptional sightings and afternoon game drives may also continue after dark, with a specially filtered spotlight used to illuminate wildlife that remains active at night.
