Savute Under Canvas is a private semi-mobile safari camp, located in the Savute corner of the game-rich Chobe National Park.

Using secluded wildlife campsites, and moving every five or six days (as per national park regulations), this African experience provides an up close and personal adventure, carefully positioned as close to the resident game as possible.

The camp has five comfortable safari tents with a double bed and en-suite facilities that include a separate WC and bucket shower (hot water delivered on request). The guest areas comprise of comfortable tents for dining, pre-dinner drinks or just whiling away the time between game drives. Adding to the romance of the camp, dining can be done beneath open skies. Savute Under Canvas combines the rustic charm of camping with the comfort of full and personalised service.

This arid region of the Chobe is known for the enigmatic Savute Channel, flowing and drying up intermittently, large numbers of lions, open plains, the annual Zebra migration (usually around March) and baobab trees. Activities from camp include daily game drives.
