Recently opened (Dec 2017) Qorokwe Camp is set in the 26,180 hectare (64,692 acres) private Qorokwe concession, bordering the Moremi in the south east of the Okavango Delta.
Built on raised decks are 9 contemporary eco-chic suites, one of which is a spacious family suite with its own splash pool. Constructed out of canvas, gauze and a rich mix of bleached timbers, the expansive main guest areas overlook a lagoon. Facilities include a dining, lounge and bar area, chill-out spots with hanging beds, a ground level fire-pit, infinity pool, boma and pizza oven.
The concessions varied habitats of seasonal palm-dotted islands, acacia and mopane woodlands, open seasonal and permanent floodplains and tranquil waterways supports a healthy population of predators, good general game and a diversity of birdlife. Enjoy day and night game drives and, (water-level permitting) mokoro excursions. Walking is seasonal and on request.
