Vumbura Plains and Little Vumbura Camp are situated in the extreme north of the Okavango Delta in what is known locally as the Kwedi Reserve.

Little Vumbura is located in a 60 000 hectare private concession in the northern Okavango Delta. Set on a wooded island under the canopy of an ancient forest, the camp blends into pristine surrounds: diverse habitats of permanent swamp, small palm islands, seasonal floodplains and acacia woodlands. 6 elevated tents feature private decks from which to watch the wildlife. Open-plan main areas include a lounge, bar and dining room and guests can savour delicious meals under star-studded skies in the traditional boma.

Between exciting day and night game drives, cool off in the plunge pool, with its vistas over the flood plains. Depending on the water levels, activities include boating and mokoro excursions as well as catch and release fishing (except during January and February). Nature walks are undertaken on nearby islands – subject to the availability of a qualified walking guide. For an additional charge visitors may book a guided visit to a local African village – by helicopter.

Little Vumbura Camp is situated on an island in a private concession in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta, in the same region as its sister camp, Vumbura Plains.
