In a prime location on a beautiful old tree-island, Chitabe provides superb views across breathtaking open Okavango floodplains.
Chitabe Camp is situated in the diverse 28,000 hectare Chitabe Concession in the south-east of the Okavango Delta, with the Moremi Game Reserve bordering the north and east.
The eight spacious luxury safari-style tents are built on elevated wooden decks amongst the trees of the Okavango Delta. Each tent has en-suite facilities that include an indoor and outdoor shower; mosquito nets, standing fans and double sliding doors opening onto the shady deck with comfortable seating from which to soak up the bush. Elevated walkways connect the tents to the central camp facilities made up of a thatched raised dining and lounge area leading onto open decking with views across the waterways and floodplains.
There is an evening campfire, a small curio shop and a plunge pool providing a cool sanctuary.
