Built under a canopy of trees, the camp commands excellent panoramas over a vast floodplain. 9 large tented suites (including a family unit) are elevated so that views out towards the floodplain can be appreciated from the veranda and pergola, as well from the deck with its private plunge pool. Stylish, contemporary interiors comprise a sitting room, separate bedroom and bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers and a bath with copper and brass finishings, all unashamedly luxurious.
Socialise around a blazing fire, in boutique central spaces or settle on the deck sipping beverages and enjoying superb “armchair game viewing” (water-levels depending) over the busy area in front of the camp. A la carte meals are served in the dining room along with a fine selection of wines, or in the traditional boma under the stars, while guests are serenaded by the Mombo Choir.
