Built high on the edge of a rocky ridge, it commands sweeping views over the floodplains of Chobe River. The lodge has an uncomplicated, rustic African feel and is comfortably appointed and welcoming. Eleven chalets (including a family chalet) have polished floors, wooden beams and attractive contemporary furnishings. Each extends out to a private deck. Each chalet has both indoor and outdoor showers.
Follow sandy walkways to the main lounge, dining and bar area, or settle in the pool, with its exquisite panoramas over the landscape. Game drives and boat cruises allow guests to view the magnificent animals which inhabit the area – elephants in particular.
